I’m Christopher Green, a web developer and designer in Tucson, Arizona. Having played the piano for 13 years, I enjoy music education and have strong skills in music engraving. I can tutor almost any subject. From time to time, I explore the outdoors. I hike, swim, and spelunk.
Web Design and Development
Since 2008, I've been designing and building websites. Learning new technology is fun, and I'm proficient with tools like:
For interface design, I use OmniGraffle, Sketch, and Pixelmator.
For examples of my work, peruse the following websites:
- The Clothing Exchange
- Citadel Firearms Training
- Grace Presbyterian Church
- The American Woman Shooter
- Resounding Music
- Bryan Atkinson
- David Ronsick
- Risley Family Ministries
As a former creative director for a newspaper, I'm well versed in print design. I'm familiar with many applications in Adobe's new Creative Cloud.
- Premier Pro
- Acrobat Pro
The web is complicated; I routinely help clients understand how to make the most out of their web presence. I consult both remotely and in person.
For over five years I've taught private piano lessons. My teaching style borrows ideas from my own mentor, Peter Coraggio, along with the Suzuki and Orff approaches to music education. I've also taught two semesters of music composition, and two semesters Orff music. My students range in age from three to seventeen years old.
I'm currently in the processes of recreating quality editions of 16th - 19th century works which are now out of print. I also engrave hymns and psalms. Recently, I've begun to produce my own piano primer.
